With the move to Alabama, along a beautiful river, our family is taking on a new adventure, and the planning begins to take shape for what will be our new home at Wildwood.
The wooded property is filled with largely oaks and other varieties of hardwoods. Evergreens of pine curve through the land in a lush green ribbon. As we clear ground, the large oaks give way to the long curving driveway that takes you to the top of a ridge of our home site. I can see the beginning of Wildwood.
The expectations for Wildwood, in creating a beautiful farm life, is to design and develop gardens and orchards and to create a venue that can be a special place for families and friends to make memories and share in the beauty of Wildwood.
We have started this journey and plan to share our adventures of Wildwood here on the French House blog. We welcome you to follow along as we begin the process of clearing land and planning out the layout of gardens and orchard areas.
